| The nouns, verbs, modal particles and dialectic idioms with local characteristics employed in Chen Zhongshis novel White Deer Plain make the novel more expressive. This article studies the language of the novel in order to find out some regulations in language use and seek inspiration in creative use of language. The employment of language with particular features may increase artistic charm of literary works and provide inspiration for artistic creation. |
