| Wang Zhaosheng has long been committed to the study of modern and contemporary Chinese prose and made herculean efforts at prose theory construction and criticism, thus he has received extensive attention from the academia for his contribution to the prose theory. With the spirit of theoretical building, lofty ideals, high aspirations and down-to-earth practice, and with his broad vision, he has explored the garden of prose, and opened up newly cultivated fields.This paper mainly examined the academic value of Wang Zhaosheng 's prose theory from two aspects: the contribution of his prose theory and his academic personality. |
