Rural revitalization is a significant initiative by the nation to achieve rural prosperity based on the primary social contradictions in the new era. The key to rural revitalization lies in talent revitalization and continuing education should provide talent guarantee and technological support for rural revitalization. This paper discusses the significance of continuing education in serving the rural revitalization strategy and the existing issues such as outdated concepts, stale teaching content, monotonous forms, and resource shortages. It also proposes reform measures for rural adult continuing education from four aspects: changing villagers' concepts of continuing education, optimizing teaching content and methods, strengthening faculty and resource development, and establishing a rural revitalization academy. |
