| 论文采用文献研究法和个案研究法相结合的实证方法，基于言外行为理论对模糊语的语用功能进行研究，以英国文学作品《另一个波琳家的女孩》为微型语料库来源，从中随机抽取100个包含模糊语的对话语句，对其进行分类统计和语用研究。研究发现，小说《另一个波琳家的女孩》中模糊语的使用突出了人物复杂而微妙的个性，如玛丽的天真、安妮的狡猾和亨利的冲动。此外，基于言外行为理论，小说中的模糊语起到了传达意图、操控场面和塑造都铎王朝宫廷中复杂关系网的作用，并推动了故事情节的发展。模糊语的语用功能可以分为积极功能和消极功能，但模糊语在日常交际中常常是积极有效的交际手段。合理使用模糊语能够帮助读者更好地理解文学作品，增强交际效果。 |

| On the basis of the illocutionary act theory, the author adopts a combination of the literature study method and the case study method and conducts a study of pragmatic functions of vague language, with the British novel The Other Boleyn Girl as the source of the micro corpus. 100 dialogues that include vague language expressions are randomly chosen for categorical statistics and pragmatic analysis. The research results show that the use of vague language in The Other Boleyn Girl highlights the characters' complex and nuanced personalities, such as Mary's innocence, Anne's cunningness and Henry's impulse. Also, through the illocutionary act theory, the vagueness in the novel became a means of conveying intentions, manipulating situations, and shaping the intricate web of relationships in the Tudor court, ultimately driving the story forward. Moreover, the pragmatic functions played by vague language can be classified into positive functions and negative functions. Vague language is often an active and effective means of communication in daily communication. A reasonable use of vague language can help readers better understand literary works and enhance the communicative effect. |
