| “Root of Red Culture” is an innovative concept which is formed by the Chinese communists in the process of historical review and empirical summary. It is an important achievement in sinicization and modernization of Marxism. Its generation and development are clear in historical logic, theoretical logic and cultural logic. Protecting “Root of Red Culture” is based on the practice of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important statements about "making good use of red resources and carrying on the red bloodline". It is a theoretical necessity of keeping promoting sinicization and modernization of Marxism, and also the value foundation and spiritual coordinate for realization of high-level comprehensive socialist modernization and high-quality development of the demonstration area of common prosperity in Zhejiang Province. The essence of protecting “Root of Red Culture” is the self-conscious and independent cultural practice of the cultural subject, covering protection of cultural tradition, inheritance of cultural experience, and cultural innovation. Protection of“Root of Red Culture” is also a timely action of powerfully responding to the trend of postmodern historiography, continuously playing the value-leading role of advanced culture, and promoting sustaining deepening and development of social practice. |
