The implementation of the course ideological and political education is an important strategy for fulfilling the fundamental task of moral education and student cultivation and promoting the comprehensive reform of “cultivating students by the whole society, in the whole process of education and in an all round way”. Teachers play a key role in propelling the course ideological and political education. Their ideological and political literacy is directly related to the level and effectiveness of the course ideological and political education. This paper defines the connotation of teachers' ideological and political literacy in course teaching from three dimensions of cognition, affection and behavior, analyzes the current status of college teachers' ideological and political literacy and the practical dilemma via the questionnaire survey, and proposes the strategies for upgrading the ideological and political literacy from the aspects of strengthening the teachers' ideological and political consciousness, intensifying their ideological and political quality, cultivating their good virtues, accumulating their ideological and political knowledge, and deepening their ideological and political teaching practice. |
