| The Intellectual Youth’s experience in Anti-Japanese War is an important theme of Yao Xueyin's novels. However, which have not received attention in literary history. Yao uses passionate and romantic style, sings a respectable and touching song for these peoples, and consciously surpasses the common defects of literatures in that era, reflects on the predicament of these Youth’s enlightenment spirit which inherited from May Fourth era. Furthermore, Yao also reflects how Intellectual Youth were defeated by reality in that great era. |
