| 新时代高校教师不仅是教书匠，而且是年轻大学生的“灵魂工程师”。高校教师应有适应新时代的职业境界，在教育教学实践中应密切配合，做到上下呼应、校内校外呼应，形成强有力的关心学生的社会共同体；让学生深切体会到党和政府关怀大学生、重视大学生的未来发展，使其以实际行动感恩党和政府、立志报效祖国。 |

| University teachers in the new era are not just teachers imparting knowledge, but young students’ soul engineers. They should possess professional realm adapted to the new era. In their practice of education and teaching, they should consider the requirements of the authorities and needs of the students and join the efforts from inside and outside universities so as to form an effective social community for taking care of students; they ought to enable students to be deeply conscious of the Party and the government's concern for them and for their future development so that they will feel grateful to the Party and the government and serve the country with practical action in the future. |
