After 30 years of reform and opening up, the strength of private higher education in China has been growing. However, compared with public universities, private universities are still at a disadvantage and face many problems in their development.Personnel problems are particularly prominent.Lack of attraction, frequent turnover of personnel and limited development of teachers in private colleges and universities pose great challenges to personnel management in private colleges and universities. In personnel management, rational use of incentive mechanism can promote teacher development and school stability. However, the current personnel management system in private colleges and universities has some problems, such as attaching importance to material incentives rather than spiritual incentives and imperfect mechanism. The incentives should follow the principles of systematicness, hierarchy, timeliness and fairness, introduce competition mechanism, innovative assessment mechanism, combine material incentives, spiritual incentives and emotional incentives, and scientifically and effectively play an active role in the incentive mechanism. |
