Hannah Arendt, a person who dared to take the lead in the world out of freedom and justice. Based on the orientation of thinking difficulties in the post-war trials in Germany, she brought something unexpected to this world——the Banality of Evil. In order to heal the moral scars of the self and society, Arendt found an Archimedes point in ancient Greece. Standing on this foothold, she turned her critical eyes to the thinking activities, which were based on the silent dialogue with oneself. Thus, Arendt pointed out that for individual, we need to always keep thinking and judging; for the society, we need to defend public realm through free action and revolution. |
