As capital, with its double attributes, FDI increases the capital stock of introduction area, and promotes the economic growth of the introduction region, and the quality of FDI capital is usually higher than the capital quality of the introduction regions. The high quality of FDI is embodied in the sophistication of machinery and eauipment, the scientificalness of management, the compactness of industrial process, and the acuity of international market. Foreign enterprises further promote the economic growth of the introduction region through the spilover in market transactions and technical cooperation with local enterprises. Based on the relation of FDI spilover efect to human resources capital, this paper gave an estimation of FDI influence on regional income gap by means of this relation. The results showed that there is a significant impact of the non-equilibrium distribution of FDI on China's regional income gap: in general, the extent of the contribution of non-equilibrium distribution of FDI to China's regional income gap is between 18.79%~26%, with a rising trend. |
